Sylvester Stallone Artwork

Sylvester Stallone appeared in the northern capital with an unusual goal. In the Russian Museum, Sylvester Stallone has opened an exhibition of his artwork.

- I'm flattered to present these pictures in such a wonderful palace - said the American visitor. They are almost all of my pictures - it's self-expression, added Stallone. However, many have criticized, but without criticism there is no creativity. I should note that I resort to painting only when I have feelings and emotions in which I can’t tell people in a different way.

One of the works from Stallone is a painting from 1977. It is called " Death of a friend."

- It was when I was filming the movie "Fist”, said Stallone. It happened in Iowa. I experienced at that time a difficult period in my life. And Jane Oliver was my manager and was very helpful. After a while, I found out that she had died. My hands stretched themselves to the easel.

Opening the exhibition at the Russian Museum, was the guest of St. Petersburg together with Vladimir Gusev, (Russian museum director) and was rushed to the Marble Palace, which displayed 9 more pictures that were made by Stallone.

Stallone spent almost two days in St. Petersburg.

At first he just stayed in his hotel room and then only in the evening, he decided to go down to the hotel restaurant that serves Russian cuisine.

Stallone said to not rule out the possibility that soon, along with his whole family, will come back to St. Petersburg. Stallone stated that the city is very beautiful. There are a lot of things to see here.

Exhibition of paintings by Sylvester Stallone runs until January 13, 2014.
